1. Vanjangi Viewpoint

Vanjangi is the latest hill station in India to have surfaced and is enjoying quite a moment among mountain lovers. Vanjangi is almost 100km from the city making an almost 3hours road trip.

The beauty of this place is that the sun rises from the dense clouds that are stagnant between the two hills. The stagnant clouds that are present in between these hills, this place is also called as ‘Megha Samudra’ (cloud sea) because of the clouds that look like a sea. This is a treat to watch.

Bojjannakonda - Visakhapatnam

Vizag has a rich collection of the remnants of the Buddhism establishment – most visitors would have been to Thotlakonda & Bavikonda but the most beautiful site is undoubtedly Bojjanakonda and Lingalakonda. This is located approx 40km from the city, a few kilometers from Anakapalle. This monastery comprises rock-cut caves with Buddhist carvings. And there are Buddhist stupas situated on two adjacent hillocks

. The hillocks are surrounded by luscious paddy fields that add greenery making the place look completely breathtaking in monsoon season.

5. Bike Ride next to Bay of Bengal!

Are you a rider? You would love riding a bike with a breath-taking view on the road next to multiple beaches from Beach Road to Bheemili, for a stretch of 30km – approx 40-50mins one way & less traffic. This trip would cover Ramakrishna beach, Rushikonda beach, Thotlakonda beach, Relli beach, Bheemili beach & few other not so popular / known but scenic beaches with breath-taking views & crystal-clear water.

Based on my experience, I would recommend to rent a bike from Royal Brothers & enjoy a smooth ride. You can expect well-maintained bikes from Royal Brothers & a good support – no wait time. However, it’s recommended to pre-book based on your trip as it’s on high-demand.
